Welcome to Family Behavioral Support

Family Behavioral Support was founded to offer guidance and support for a variety of behavioral needs. FBS provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) services in-home and throughout the community, developing individualized treatment goals to help build new skills and decrease challenging or problematic behaviors. Our objectives are to increase socially important behaviors and foster independence for children and young adults with autism.

We strive to provide comprehensive services to individuals with autism and their families. In both home and community settings, all behavioral, educational, and social skills services are individualized to meet the needs of each child while utilizing evidence-based interventions, providing behavior support, and collaborating with other professionals to achieve each child’s long-term and short-term goals.

Autism doesn’t affect just one area of your child’s life, so ABA shouldn’t be confined to only one location. Providing therapy in your home, school, and other community settings allows us to address concerns in a variety of different areas. Most importantly, home-based therapy allows our therapists to provide treatment in everyday situations in your home which provides us opportunities to focus on areas that affect each family’s daily lives.

With home-based therapy it is important for the entire family to be involved. ABA is most effective when the child’s family plays an active role in the treatment process.

All members of the FBS team are Board Certified (BCBA/BCaBA) or are highly trained Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT). BCBAs, BCaBAs, and RBTs work closely together with each family to ensure quality programming that is appropriate for all individuals being served. All programs are monitored by data collection to ensure the efficacy and effectiveness of each program goal.
